On Sunday the 26th May our choir will officially finish singing at the 10:30am Mass at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy’s Cross, but all is not lost as we’ll continue a tradition  we started some years ago whereby we go on singing “unofficially ( without our weekly Wednesday night practice) at the 10:30 am Mass. This was an extremely busy and demanding time for the choir.
It all began on Sunday 2nd of December when we sang as usual at the 10:30 Mass in the Holy Spirit Church, after which we proceeded to make our way to the Wilton Shopping Centre where for over an hour we entertained shoppers with an array of Christmas Carols.
The following Sunday we were again ‘double jobbing’ singing as usual at the 10:30 am Mass and later that evening at 5 pm we were back in the Holy Spirit Church to partake in the Parish advent Service ‘Waiting in Hope’ (more…)
